BeCause is a world-class boutique event space which opened its doors in 2016. It is a destination designed to help people celebrate life’s beautiful moments. BeCause is an acronym for Beauty, Events and Causes. Passionate about bringing the community together, BeCause donates its massive spotlighted interior walls to local artists to showcase their beautiful work. A percentage of all proceeds from events goes directly to help seven local causes in the community. 

An icon was created that spoke to this new space as a “destination”. A modern, friendly and elegant type solution was needed to convey the brand qualities of the venue. The icon is a stylized destination marker with a secondary destination pin nested in the negative space. The logotype mimicked the smooth rounded personality of the mark to create a symbiotic relationship which would stand alone and be as unique as the venue. The brand development that followed created an elegant and friendly atmosphere to share lifes’ moments in.

Noble cause

Its always fun to work on projects that make a difference in peoples lives. Noble Cause creates heartfelt portraits of people who are bravely confronting tremendous challenges – pediatric cancer patients, Wounded Warriors, developmentally disabled individuals, Alzheimer’s patients, at-risk youth and many others who are living lives filled with hope despite their personal struggles. The photographs reflect the resolve and resiliency that shines through in the faces of these extraordinary people.

The goal was to create a visually compelling logo and brand that exemplified the illuminating spirit of the people in which it represents. The message became clear, and it lead to the positioning statement “Visualizing Hope”. The iconic heart symbol represents the spirit, while the lowercase “n” distinguishes itself with a friendly, fun letterform.

These images above represent some really great people and interesting companies. Each logo and brand identity was strategically designed to tell its own unique story.
